Job summary

NTS Hengelo is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join the Operations team on the shop floor. You will bridge production and support, analyze problems, and implement practical solutions to improve products and processes in the long term.

You will be part of the Product Management Team, bringing technical expertise to drive improvements, with emphasis on quality, efficiency, and manufacturability in a technically complex environment.

Qualifications

• HBO level in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Experience in a high-tech production environment (assembly or machining).
• Knowledge of SPC, CPK, PFMEA and root cause analyses.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and process optimization.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Resolve daily and ad-hoc technical problems during production.
• Analyze process disruptions and determine effective solutions with production.
• Identify recurring problems and translate into structural improvements.
• Actively participate in Product Management Team and contribute to product strategy.
• Improve production methods for higher quality, efficiency, and stability.
• Update work instructions, routings, tooling, and production docs.
• Guide production through changes, new methods, and launches.
