Job summary

Stoneridge seeks a Production Process Engineer to lead the introduction of new products into mass production, optimize workflows, and ensure manufacturability, quality, and efficiency in a reliable, scalable production environment.

You will collaborate with production and quality teams, develop assembly instructions, and drive continuous improvement using Lean practices, PFMEAs, control plans, and root-cause problem solving.

Qualifications

• MBO or HBO in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive Core Tools: SPC, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and Control Plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
• Dutch language skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the introduction of new products into mass production, ensuring manufacturability, repeatability, production efficiency, and cost targets.
• Develop and maintain clear assembly work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation.
• Optimize production processes, assembly sequences, tooling, and machine configurations to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Establish and maintain QA mechanisms, including PFMEAs and Control Plans, integrating quality into processes.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve flow using Lean practices.
• Support maintenance and reliability through inspections, calibrations, and 8D problem solving.
