Job summary

Neways Electronics International NV in the Netherlands seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to drive industrialization of complex cable products and translate designs into executable production steps. You will be the on-floor technical contact, providing pragmatic solutions to keep production efficient for international customers.

You will develop work instructions, set up cutting/stripping/crimping machines, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to improve lead times and reliability.

Qualifications

• MBO diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Experience in aerospace is a strong requirement.
• Background as work planner, CNC machinist, maintenance technician, or electrician.
• Experience with defining production processes and creating work instructions.
• Familiar with procedures and process flows.
• Process-oriented, clear procedures and workflows.
• Communicate in Dutch and English; German is a plus.
• Proactive, analytical and pragmatic approach.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing new production processes.
• Developing new production concepts to improve efficiency, output and lead time.
• Ensuring correct workplace tooling and supporting tooling development produced by our 3D printer.
• Setting up and fine-tuning label machines for smooth operation.
• Preparing products for transfer to our production facility in Slovakia.
