Job summary

Division One seeks a Managing Director Netherlands to lead Utrecht-based operations, driving sales and aftersales excellence across packaging and core markets.

You will report to the group and oversee turnkey projects, profitability and governance, building a high-performance team and sustaining long-term customer partnerships in a global industrial network.

• Overall responsibility for the Dutch subsidiary, with sales and service as the primary growth drivers.
• Direct leadership of sales, new machine sales and key account management, with the aim of growing market share in packaging and other core segments.
• Strategic and operational leadership of service, spare parts and refurbishment, building a stable and profitable after-sales business and strengthening customer satisfaction and long-term market position.
• Management and steering of turnkey projects, including complex project escalations.
• Sustainable enhancement of profitability, organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Responsibility for budgeting, business planning, reporting, corporate governance and compliance with local regulatory requirements.
• Stabilisation and development of the team, including a performance-oriented leadership culture and succession planning for critical sales roles.
• Serving as a key interface between the local organization and headquarters and representing the company towards customers, business partners and other relevant market stakeholders.

To lead its Dutch operations, we are seeking an entrepreneurial, commercially driven and operationally accomplished executive to assume overall responsibility as Managing Director Netherlands (f/m/d), with a particular focus on sales and service.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven senior leadership experience in international, technically sophisticated B2B environments, ideally within mechanical engineering or automation, plastics processing, injection moulding, tooling or related industrial sectors
• Strong commercial acumen with significant exposure to sales and aftersales organizations, complemented by a solid understanding of service, spare parts, lifecycle business or comparable aftersales-driven revenue models
• Proven ability to build trust and credibility within established organizations and to work effectively with experienced teams, long-standing customer relationships and mature market structures
• Strong P&L management capabilities with the ability to translate strategic priorities into measurable operational impact and sustainable value creation
• Entrepreneurial mindset combined with execution discipline and a high degree of personal accountability
• Calm, composed and inspiring leadership personality with sound judgement, diplomacy and strong executive presence in dealings with customers, partners and headquarters
• Fluency in Dutsch and English is required, German language skills are considered an advantage
