Job summary

Huisman Equipment B.V. is seeking a Manager (GDM) Service Support to lead a global team of superintendents and support engineers.

You will drive day-to-day operations, enhance service processes, and strengthen international collaboration while maintaining high client satisfaction. You will develop a culture of ownership, recruit and onboard international staff, and build tools and KPIs to support growth across the service business line.

About the position of Manager (GDM) Service Support

As Manager (GDM) Service Support, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the technical support team. You will manage and mentor a globally operating team of superintendents and support engineers, ensuring that technical issues are resolved promptly and effectively while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

You will work closely with other departments to improve support processes, strengthen international collaboration, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the service business line. • Work with sales, engineering, supply chain, and production to improve processes in line with business growth and client needs.
• Define and implement a strategy that strengthens international collaboration and the global presence of the Service Support team.
• Identify and address cultural, logistical, and operational challenges in a global project environment.
• Align project standards and working practices to support a globally distributed team and international clients.

You have

• Experience defining, implementing, and monitoring KPIs and performance metrics.
• A proven track record of managing large teams, preferably in a global environment.
• The willingness and ability to visit other Huisman entities at least once a year.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
