Job description

The Resident Engineer will support the maintenance team in an automated warehouse for our customer Albert Heijn in Zwolle, working 40 hours in extended (mainly) 2‑shift patterns, 6‑day week.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro‑mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance on automated material handling equipment, such as Autostore and conveyors, in accordance with quality standards.
• Resolve faults and user problems of a mechanical and electronic nature, and, if necessary, liaise with remote specialists.
• Represent Swisslog in a professional manner and maintain customer relations.

Qualifications

• Technical education in mechanical/electrical maintenance or mechatronics.
• Customer‑ and service‑oriented with good communication skills.
• Understanding of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules.
• Experience working on automated equipment such as conveyors and robots is desirable but not essential.
