Job summary

Swisslog is seeking a maintenance technician in Kampen to ensure logistics automation and building management systems run efficiently. Qualifications

Job description

This position is located at our customer Wärtsilä in Kampen. It offers a technically fascinating and varied role where no two days are the same. You will work in a great team of seven colleagues and be responsible for maintaining the logistics automation, equipment, and building management, including pallet cranes, mini-load cranes, and conveyor systems. The schedule includes early, late, and sometimes night shifts (24/5) with standby arrangements (night and weekend).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Resolve malfunctions and user problems related to mechanical, electronic, and automation (PLC & IT) where time is of the essence.
• Organize improvements or repairs.
• Establish documentation, maintenance, inspections, and management of technical systems or equipment.

Application Requirements

• You hold a Technical E-/WTB education at a minimum "MBO" level.
• Broad knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical installations, and automation systems is preferred. Swisslog can offer training if necessary.
• Self‑starter mentality and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Comfortable finding smart, temporary solutions when circumstances call for it, keeping work moving forward.
• Comfortable and able to organize and carry out a job independently.
• Good customer service skills, including the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language, in both writing and speech.
