Job summary

TGW Group, supporting Stichd (PUMA Group), seeks a hands-on maintenance technician to keep a highly automated distribution centre running smoothly in Tilburg.

As part of the resident maintenance team you'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and identify improvements to maximise uptime and customer satisfaction.

You will work in a fast-paced logistics environment where teamwork, safety and reliability matter, with two shifts and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Mechatronics or related technical diploma at MBO level.
• Knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems or controls.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-focused mindset.
• Able to work in time-critical environments and at heights.
• Willing to work flexible shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• A dynamic, open and informal working environment with pleasant colleagues

WHAT YOU’LL BE HANDLING

• You execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
• You resolve breakdown situations (corrective maintenance) with support on more technical elements
• You ensure high levels of housekeeping and never compromise on safety first
• You support the automation to operate at its maximum efficiency
• You complete all necessary reports, including those for shift maintenance tasks, spare parts usage, and toploss, while working in DART and CMMS software platforms
• You continually improve the performance of the equipment through avenues such as toploss activities and design modifications
• You actively seek root cause when remedying any breakdowns on TGW supplied equipment and software
• You support flow control activities

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• You have a technical diploma at MBO level (for example mechatronics, electronics, electrical, mechanical, automotive engineering, aeronautical engineering etc.)
• You have general knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, or controls
• You understand maintenance processes
• You are customer focused
• You have good problem-solving skills
• You are able to work in a time-critical environment
• You are able to work at heights
