Job summary

Manpower in Venlo is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and troubleshoot production equipment in a modern manufacturing environment. This is a direct contract with the employer, with a strong salary, a 35.04% shift allowance, and ample opportunities to develop technical skills.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, read schematics, and work with suppliers and teams to improve machine reliability and production performance on a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification at vocational Level 3 or Level 4.
• Experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to diagnose basic electrical faults and read schematics.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Good understanding of industrial automation and machine operation.
• Excellent command of English (mandatory).
• Hands-on attitude and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in a four-shift rotation.

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you ensure that production equipment remains in excellent condition. You perform preventive maintenance, resolve breakdowns and contribute to improving machine reliability together with your colleagues.

Your responsibilities include

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment


• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and basic electrical faults


• Identifying root causes of technical issues and implementing sustainable solutions


• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals and electrical schematics


• Replacing defective components and coordinating spare parts with suppliers


• Registering maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)


• Communicating maintenance activities during shift handovers


• Collaborating with suppliers and internal departments to resolve technical issues


• Contributing to continuous improvements that increase machine reliability and production performance
