Job summary

AuRoLog Talent is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Mechanical & Electrical) to maintain and troubleshoot automated warehouse systems at a large logistics facility in Bleiswijk. The role involves hands-on work with mechatronics, electrical and mechanical maintenance, and exposure to industrial automation and material handling systems.

Qualifications

• MBO-level qualification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Previous experience in maintenance, service engineering or a similar industrial environment.
• Good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with an approximate 60% mechanical and 40% electrical focus.
• Basic PLC fault-finding knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated warehouse equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Maintain conveyors, automated storage systems, picking equipment, motors, and related components.
• Identify technical issues and help minimise equipment downtime.
• Carry out basic fault-finding on PLC-controlled systems.
• Work closely with other technicians to ensure reliable system performance.
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Service Technician to maintain and troubleshoot automated warehouse systems at a large logistics facility in Bleiswijk.

You will work in a technical team responsible for keeping automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyor systems, and picking equipment running efficiently. This is a hands-on role suited to technicians with a background in mechatronics, electrical or mechanical maintenance, industrial automation, or material handling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated warehouse equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Maintain conveyors, automated storage systems, picking equipment, motors, and related components.
• Identify technical issues and help minimise equipment downtime.
• Carry out basic fault-finding on PLC-controlled systems.
• Work closely with other technicians to ensure reliable system performance.
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• MBO-level qualification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Previous experience in maintenance, service engineering or a similar industrial environment.
• Good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with an approximate 60% mechanical and 40% electrical focus.
• Basic PLC fault-finding knowledge is preferred.
• Warehouse automation experience is an advantage, but candidates from manufacturing, packaging, material handling or similar industrial environments are welcome.
• Good English communication skills. Dutch is not required.
• Willingness to work a rotating 24/7 shift pattern.

Shift Pattern:

The role follows a repeating 10-day cycle:

• 2 morning shifts: 05:30-14:30
• 2 afternoon shifts: 13:30-22:30
• 2 night shifts: 21:30-06:00
• 4 consecutive days off

Weekend and public holiday work is required.
