Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a newly commissioned facility in Sassenheim, NL. The role focuses on keeping manufacturing equipment and utilities safe, reliable, and running, with hands-on troubleshooting and reliability improvements.

You will work in collaboration with the Leiden maintenance organization, report to the maintenance department, and operate in a 16/7 shift pattern. A strong emphasis on safety, quality, and GMP is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical diploma at MBO 3/4 level or VAPRO B/C in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Measurement & Control Technology.
• 0-3 years of hands-on experience in a maintenance or technical environment.
• Able to interpret technical documentation and manuals for safe maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on manufacturing equipment and utilities.
• Troubleshoot complex failures and log findings in the CMMS.
• Participate in root cause investigations and reliability improvements.
• Assist with second-line troubleshooting and spare parts management.
• Coordinate with operations and external providers; assist with installation and qualification of new equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records, perform periodic checks, and ensure safety and GMP compliance.
