Job summary

Booston.io zoekt een ervaren Maintenance Technician om technische uitval te verhelpen en de betrouwbaarheid van productie-installaties te verbeteren. Je leidt een team, deelt kennis en ondersteunt collega’s bij continue professionalisering van de onderhoudsafdeling.

Je werkt nauw samen met de Head of Technical Services aan lopende verbeterprojecten en ontwikkelingen binnen een food-productie-omgeving.

Qualifications

• Klantvereiste: afgeronde MBO niveau 4 in relevante techniek.
• Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring als onderhouds- of storingsmonteur, bij voorkeur in de voedingsmiddelenindustrie.
• Sterke elektrotechnische kennis en vermogen om fouten snel te diagnosticeren en op te lossen.
• Aantoonbare ervaring in training en ondersteuning van collega's.
• Hands-on mentaliteit met proactieve houding ten opzichte van verbeterprojecten.
• Goede beheersing van het Nederlands; Engels is een pluspunt.

Responsibilities

• Leiden en coachen van het onderhoudsteam in een productieomgeving.
• Bevorderen van betrouwbaarheid van machines, installaties en lijnen.
• Oplossen van technische issues en optimalisatie-initiatieven begeleiden.
• Samenwerken met de Head of Technical Services aan ontwikkeling van de onderhoudsafdeling.

Over de functie

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician who is eager to share knowledge, take initiative, and lead a team in a dynamic production environment. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the reliability and continuous improvement of machinery, installations, and production lines. You will not only resolve technical issues but also act as a mentor and role model for your colleagues. Working closely with the Head of Technical Services, you will contribute to the ongoing development and professionalization of the maintenance department.

Wat wij vragen

• Completed technical education (MBO level 4) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a similar field
• At least 5 years of experience as a maintenance or troubleshooting technician, preferably in the food industry
• Strong electrical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults effectively
• Proven experience in training and supporting colleagues
• Hands-on mindset with a proactive attitude toward challenges and improvement projects
• Good command of Dutch (spoken and written); additional languages such as English are an advantage
