Job summary

SIF group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Technical Service Department at Maasvlakte 2. You will perform preventive maintenance and repair electrical/mechanical systems to keep production running smoothly in a multinational team. Language skills in Dutch, German or English are valued.

The role is based in the Netherlands with a 3-shift schedule, offering a clear path for permanent employment after one year and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• MBO-level technical education in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience with PLC controls and reading machine drawings/manuels is essential.
• Ability to diagnose and fix malfunctions while maintaining production continuity.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on buildings and machines as instructed by the Head of Technical Service.
• Repair faults with minimum production disruption.
• Work in a multilingual team and communicate effectively in Dutch, German or English.
• Move machines and assist with installation of new equipment when needed.
• Maintain order in the workshop and warehouse and ensure proper use of tools.
• Document condition and report deteriorations promptly.

Are you a driven, enthusiastic technician with Electrical knowledge who wants to help build (literally!) the foundation of offshore wind farms across Europe? Then come and use your knowledge, skills, and experience to keep our production running smoothly!

As a Maintenance Technician in the Technical Service Department, you will perform optimal (preventive) maintenance and resolve malfunctions in the machinery to ensure that our production runs at its best.

What will you do?

As a Maintenance Technician, you perform optimal (preventive) maintenance and repair faults in the machinery and buildings to ensure that the production / organization runs smoothly. You will work in a team with employees of different nationalities. It’s therefore important that you speak Dutch, German and / or English.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance on buildings and machines according to the instructions of the Head of Technical Service;
• Solving machine malfunctions, In order to delay the production as little as possible;
• Perform maintenance in the field of Electronics (mostly) and Mechanics;
• Timely identification and reporting of possible deteriorations in the condition of buildings and machines;
• Assisting with the movement of machines and the installation of new machines;
• Ensuring order and tidiness in the workplace and in the warehouse of the Technical Service;
• Carrying out preventive maintenance on the means of production in accordance with the applicable regulations;
• Ensuring a good transfer to the other service and colleagues;
• Responsible for the tools made available.

You possess:

• MBO working and thinking level, obtained by completing a technical training in Electronics / Mechanical Engineering;
• Knowledge of and experience with PLC controls;
• And experience with reading machine drawings and interpreting manuals;
• Knowledge and experience to remedy and analyze malfunctions.
