You will be responsible for the safe and effective execution of corrective and preventive maintenance!

What we need?

• A solution-oriented and a team member who'll enjoy getting things done to help the Production organization as your internal customer. Focused on collaboration, structure, and improvement.
• Strong technical insight at MBO level (senior secondary vocational education) in the field of Mechanics
• 5+ years experience as a Mechanical (Maintenance) Technician within a production / process plant
• Familiarity with RCA techniques
• You possess good communication skills, are results-oriented, and have an analytical mindset.
• The Rotterdam site is operated by a relatively small team and is growing strongly, which means you will have a challenging and diverse workload. Independence, the ability to make choices, and assertiveness isimportant
• Experience with maintenance management systems

What will your responsibilities be?

• You are primarily responsible for the correct and adequate execution of corrective maintenance and scheduled preventive maintenance of the technical installations.
• Beyond corrective and preventive maintenance, you will play an important role in managing and improving the technical installations. You propose improvement projects, participate in analyses (Root Cause Analyses), Risk Assessments (FMEAs) and plant studies, and you also execute maintenance projects yourself together with the Production and the Maintenance & Reliability departments.
• The Maintenance & Reliability department also plays a major role in plant modifications and (capital) projects. In this, you have a decisive role as a Mechanical Technician.
• After an onboarding period, you will get to work keeping the installations in good technical condition and, together with your colleagues, help shape our optimization and growth plans.
• You take part in the 24/7 on-call rota periodically (1 week every 4 weeks)
• Support the spare parts warehouse (feedback on used materials, stock accuracy/availability) and assist with maintenance contracts and supplier follow-up
• Maintain the technical status of asset data and mechanical technical documentation (mechanical/piping)
