Job summary

As an All-Round Maintenance Technician, you maintain and improve a wide range of equipment, with emphasis on preventive maintenance and reliability.

You work independently yet closely with production and engineering colleagues to keep operations running smoothly, while contributing to automation projects and documenting activities.

About the Role

As an All-Round Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of production equipment and technical installations.This role goes beyond troubleshooting. A large part of your work focuses on preventive maintenance, understanding production processes, and increasing the reliability of the entire facility. You will work independently while collaborating closely with production and engineering colleagues to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam installations.
• Support automation and continuous improvement projects.
• Record maintenance activities and technical documentation.
• Optimize maintenance plans and technical procedures.
• Coordinate and support external contractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

We are looking for a technician with a solid technical foundation and the ambition to continue developing professionally. Motivation, learning ability, and a proactive attitude are just as important as existing technical experience.

You take ownership of your work, think beyond immediate problems, and focus on long-term solutions that improve equipment reliability and operational performance.

Prefered background

• MBO-level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar technical field.
• Experience as a Maintenance Technician or Troubleshooting Technician.
• Experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to analyze PLC-related faults and follow inputs and outputs.
• Interest in automation, robotics, and process improvement.
• Comfortable working independently while being a strong team player.

Pay range and compensation package

• Salary & BenefitsSalary between €3,000 and €4,300 gross per month. Exceptional candidates may be considered up to approximately €5,300 gross per month.
