Job summary

TEKsystems Nijmegen is seeking a lab technician to diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical malfunctions in a high-tech cleanroom. You will perform preventive maintenance and work with operators, engineers, and other teammates to maximize equipment availability and process quality.

We look for candidates with MBO technology qualifications and Dutch language skills, plus a willingness to learn and participate in training programs within an international team.

Qualifications

• MBO level in electrical, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or metalektro (WEB 4).
• Fluent or good command of Dutch; basic English knowledge.
• Willing to follow training courses and develop in a high-tech setting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix malfunctions in electrical and mechanical parts of machines.
• Carry out preventive maintenance as part of daily duties.
• Work according to procedures, flow diagrams, or checklists to maximize machine availability.
• Maintain devices in the cleanroom together with operators and engineers.

Job description

As a technician within one of the production departments, you will work in a dynamic cleanroom environment. You solve malfunctions in both electrical and mechanical components and combine technical knowledge with problem-solving skills. Together with operators, engineers and other colleagues, you will work on high equipment availability and optimal process results. The factory in Nijmegen, which employs more than 800 people, is one of the largest chip factories in Europe and produces more than 15 billion advanced chips annually, mainly for the automotive and mobile phone industry.

About the Role

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for solving malfunctions in electrical and mechanical parts of our machines.
• Preventive maintenance is also part of your duties.
• The execution of the work will be carried out according to procedures, flow diagrams or checklists where possible with the aim of high availability of machines and equipment.
• Lab technician: Maintaining the devices in the cleanroom

Qualifications

• MBO technology (electrical, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, metalektro) at WEB 4 level

Required Skills

• This position is suitable for a starter or someone with between 1-5 years of work experience, willing to work on a 5-shift scheme.
