Qualifications

• MBO 3, MBO 4 of HBO in technical field.
• Achtergrond in mechatronica, werktuigbouwkunde, elektrotechniek of soortgelijk.
• In staat om technische werkinstructies in Engels te lezen en te begrijpen.
• Systematische en gedisciplineerde werkaanpak.
• Oog voor detail en precisie.
• In staat om storingen te troubleshoot en oorzaak te achterhalen.
• Bereid om in een cleanroom te werken en cleanroom-kleding te dragen.
• Bereid om in twee ploegen te werken.

Responsibilities

• Vaststellen volgens tekeningen en werkinstructies: assembleren van mechanische, elektrische en mechatronische componenten.
• Installeren en afstellen van onderdelen en modules.
• Precisie-aligneren van componenten.
• Testen en valideren van modules en systemen.
• Identificeren van afwijkingen en oorzaak achterhalen.
• Storingen zelfstandig of met team oplossen.
• Resultaten en metingen nauwkeurig registreren.
• Werken volgens strikte kwaliteit-, veiligheid- en procesregels.

We are looking for Cleanroom Technicians / Technical Assemblers to join a high-tech production environment in Veldhoven. You will work on complex mechanical, electrical and mechatronic modules that form part of some of the world's most advanced chip-making systems. You do not need to know these systems from day one. What matters is that you have a solid technical foundation, work accurately and systematically, and are genuinely interested in understanding how things work.

Function Description

As a Cleanroom Technician / Technical Assembler, you will build, test, align and troubleshoot complex technical modules in a highly controlled cleanroom environment. This is a role for someone who enjoys both hands-on technical work and problem-solving. You will work from detailed drawings and work instructions, assemble components with extreme precision and investigate deviations when something does not perform as expected. Your work directly contributes to the successful completion of highly complex high-tech systems.

What will you do?

• Assemble mechanical, electrical and mechatronic components according to technical drawings and work instructions;
• Install and adjust components and modules;
• Align components with extreme precision;
• Test and validate modules and systems;
• Identify deviations and investigate their root cause;
• Troubleshoot technical issues independently or together with your team;
• Record test results, measurements and deviations accurately;
• Work according to strict quality, safety and process requirements;
• Collaborate with colleagues from different technical disciplines.

The role combines fine mechanical work, technical thinking and problem-solving. You are not simply following instructions: when a measurement or test result is outside the expected range, you investigate why.

We are looking for technically curious people with a practical mindset. You do not need previous experience with this specific type of high-tech equipment. What matters is your technical foundation and your way of working.

You Have

• An MBO 3, MBO 4 or HBO qualification in a technical field;
• A background in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or another relevant technical discipline;
• The ability to read and understand technical work instructions in English;
• A structured and disciplined approach to technical work;
• An eye for detail and a strong sense of precision;
• The ability to troubleshoot and systematically identify the cause of a problem;
• The willingness to work in a cleanroom and wear cleanroom clothing;
• The willingness to work a two-shift schedule.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

What we offer

We believe technical specialists should be rewarded for both their expertise and their flexibility. Your exact job grade depends on the position and is determined during the selection process. The current salary structure includes:

• €18.53 – €21.88 gross per hour, depending on job grade
• 25.1% shift allowance
• 8.33% contribution for the 13th month
• 0.65% ADV allowance
• 0.87% compensation for two additional vacation days
• 8% holiday allowance, paid in May or June
• Travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometre, depending on commuting distance.
• Based on the examples in the current offer structure, the total gross monthly compensation including shift allowance and the listed additional components is approximately €4,145 – €4,422 per month, excluding travel allowance and holiday allowance. The actual amount depends on the job grade applicable to the position.
