Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to assist the Department Manager in planning and overseeing maintenance activities across production and preventive maintenance. You will monitor safety, quality, and efficiency while building a positive team environment and solving problems collaboratively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university or HS Diploma/GED with 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Has high standards of performance for self.
• Is thorough, accurate, and reliable when performing and completing job tasks; demonstrates honesty and integrity in all aspects of work.
• Takes positive action to objectively resolve conflict by listening, staying focused on issue to find resolution, and monitoring progress.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance processes with detailed accuracy and discipline.
• Coaches and assists all employees with problem solving.
• Teaches, trains, and maintains accurate training records.
• Ensures all quality standards are met.
• Ensures preventive maintenance activities are performed properly and on time.
• Maintains safety, housekeeping, quality and employee well-being.
• Conducts toolbox talks daily to ensure proper communication.
