Job summary

McCain Foods Holland B.V. in Zeeland, Rilland, seeks a Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to lead and optimize maintenance planning across Kruiningen and Rilland sites. You will drive CMMS-based work orders, coordinate with production and contractors, and push continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes asset reliability, uptime, and safety compliance, with collaboration across MAE Maintenance, engineering, procurement, and external partners. Hybrid work options may apply where suitable.

Qualifications

• Degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and CMMS utilization.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and maintenance planning tools.
• Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven commitment to workplace safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Coordinate maintenance execution across production, maintenance teams, contractors, and external service providers.
• Manage and optimize maintenance work orders through the CMMS and ensure timely completion and compliance.
• Monitor open, overdue, and completed work orders and provide regular maintenance performance reporting.
• Drive the implementation of maintenance planning standards, processes, and best practices to maximize equipment availability.
• Support food safety, quality, and safety programs, including GMP, HACCP, and LOTO requirements.
• Maintain equipment master data and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the CMMS environment.
• Analyze maintenance data, identify improvement opportunities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate maintenance planning and review meetings with key stakeholders.
• Support the development of maintenance capabilities through knowledge sharing, coaching, and training activities.
