Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the hotel’s technical operations, ensure maintenance plans, safety procedures and high standards of quality. You will act as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and spearhead major renovations, refurbishments and equipment replacements.

You’ll manage budgets, coordinate quotations and contractors, guide the Engineering team, ensure legal compliance, and maintain critical installations while protecting guest

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in a technical department.
• Experience with maintenance management in hospitality or similar service industry.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent knowledge of installations, maintenance processes and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale technical projects including renovations and equipment replacements.
• Manage and monitor maintenance plans, priorities and budgets.
• Coordinate quotations, suppliers, contractors and project proposals.
• Create work schedules, assigning tasks and guiding the Engineering team.
• Managing external service providers for specialist maintenance and repairs.
• Ensuring compliance with all technical, legal and safety requirements.
• Maintaining certifications and inspections, including lifts, fire safety systems and other critical installations.
• Monitoring the technical condition of facilities and planning preventive maintenance activities.
• Developing project proposals covering timelines, budgets, quality standards and operational impact.
• Maintaining environmental, energy and technical reports and documentation.
• Ensuring the highest standards of safety for both guests and employees throughout the hotel.
