Job summary

At Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam, the Maintenance Manager leads the hotel’s technical operations, ensuring maintenance plans, safety procedures and projects are executed efficiently. You act as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and drive major initiatives from renovations to equipment replacement.

The role requires strong leadership in a luxury hotel setting, with a proactive, hands-on approach and attention to safety, compliance, and quality.

Qualifications

• A completed technical education.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience within a technical department.
• Experience with maintenance management in hospitality or similar service-driven industry.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Safety, compliance, and quality standards awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale technical projects including renovations and equipment replacements.
• Manage and monitor maintenance plans, priorities and budgets.
• Coordinate quotations, suppliers, contractors and proposals.
• Create work schedules and guide the Engineering team.
• Manage external service providers for specialist maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with technical, legal and safety requirements.
• Maintain certifications and inspections (lifts, fire safety, etc.).
• Plan preventive maintenance activities and report on progress.
