Job summary

Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe (HCME) in Amsterdam is seeking a Maintenance and Equipment Engineer to keep factory equipment in top condition, plan preventive maintenance, and resolve technical issues with internal teams and suppliers.

You will monitor performance, lead reliability improvements, manage external service providers, and drive investments in new equipment while ensuring safety, quality and operational targets are met.

Qualifications

• MBO level 4 in a relevant technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Experience with Ultimo or similar maintenance software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage equipment reliability and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Support and develop maintenance processes.
• Manage external suppliers and service providers.
• Lead equipment investment and replacement initiatives.
• Ensure achievement of operational performance targets.
