Technical Maintenance – Electrical / Mechanical

The Opportunity

We are recruiting Technical Maintenance professionals to join a major international engineering and infrastructure organisation in The Hague.

We are interested in speaking with candidates from either an Electrical or Mechanical/HVAC maintenance background. You do not need to be experienced across both disciplines.

These positions offer an opportunity to move beyond purely hands-on maintenance and take greater ownership of technical installations, contractors, compliance, maintenance performance and equipment uptime across multiple client locations.

Training and development can be provided in areas where additional technical knowledge or certification is required.

Electrical Maintenance

For the electrical-focused position, your responsibilities may include:

• Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance of electrical installations
• Managing electrical faults, repairs, modifications and upgrades
• Supporting the safe management and operation of electrical installations
• Coordinating external electrical contractors and service providers
• Monitoring contractor performance, costs and SLAs
• Managing required inspections and ensuring corrective work is completed
• Supporting electrical safety and regulatory compliance
• Identifying opportunities to improve reliability and equipment uptime
• Acting as a technical point of contact for clients and contractors

Mechanical / HVAC Maintenance

For the mechanical-focused position, your responsibilities may include:

• Managing HVAC, refrigeration and cooling installations
• Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance
• Supporting the management of F-Gas-related equipment and compliance
• Coordinating maintenance contractors and specialist service providers
• Managing equipment faults, repairs, replacements and upgrades
• Ensuring statutory inspections are planned, completed and followed up
• Monitoring contractor performance, costs and SLAs
• Reducing equipment downtime and improving reliability
• Acting as a technical point of contact for clients and contractors

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience managing external contractors, planned maintenance, breakdowns, technical inspections or compliance would be particularly relevant.

An MBO+ or HBO technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Refrigeration, Building Services or a related discipline would be advantageous.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is technically capable, proactive and comfortable taking responsibility for getting maintenance issues resolved.

• Fluent Dutch – spoken and written
• Good professional English
• Technical maintenance experience within Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Refrigeration or a related field
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and technical teams
• Existing right to work in the Netherlands
