Job summary

Extreme Cashmere BV in Amsterdam seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help run our Amsterdam store on the Utrechtsestraat. The role blends hands-on client care with leadership, reporting to the Store Manager and stepping in when she is away.

You’ll welcome clients, advise on knitwear, manage cash, train the team, and ensure the store aligns with our brand standards. A luxury retail background and English/Dutch fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of retail experience on the shop floor, preferably luxury or premium fashion, with time as a team lead, key holder or assistant manager.
• Warm, trustworthy people person with a professional demeanor.
• Patient, confident, knowledgeable and never pushy.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and advise clients on shape, qualities and care; build client book and invite them to events.
• Open/close the store, handle cash and payments, maintain store appearance.
• Lead the team when the Store Manager is away; plan weekly rosters and train new sales associates.
• Keep the store in shape: manage deliveries, stock checks, transfers, and visual guidelines.
