Job summary

Scheuten in Venlo zoekt een gedreven logistiek medewerker om orders te verzamelen, glasproducten veilig te plaatsen en verzendklaar te maken. Je leert werken met een heftruck en werkt in een 3-ploegendienst van 05:30–14:00, 14:00–22:30 en 22:30–05:30.

Het salaris bedraagt €15.92 bruto per uur met een ploegentoeslag van 23%, plus reiskostenvoucher tot 50 km, 8% vakantiegeld en een mogelijkheid tot een vast contract, bonus tot €2.500 bruto per jaar, en diverse verlof- en werkkledingvoorzieningen.

Qualifications

• Volledig beschikbare uren, werken in 3 shiften.

You will also learn how to work with a forklift. You use the forklift to move the racks with glass and prepare them for transport. Never driven a forklift before? No problem. You do not need to know everything already. We are mainly looking for someone who wants to learn and works carefully and safely.

Your tasks include:

• Collecting glass products based on order lists;
• Placing glass safely on racks and supports;
• Checking if orders are complete;
• Adding safety stickers to the glass;
• Preparing orders for shipping;
• Moving racks with glass using a forklift;
• Applying foil to the glass when needed;
• Keeping the workplace clean and safe.

You will work an average of 38 hours per week in a 3-shift schedule. The shifts rotate between early, late and night shifts: 05:30–14:00, 14:00–22:30 and 22:30–05:30. On Fridays, the late shift ends at 23:00. The night shift starts earlier on Sunday evening because the machines need to be started.
