Job summary

Scheuten in Venlo zoekt een productie-medewerker glas/alu. Je start op een werkstation en leert stap voor stap meer taken en machines kennen. Je werkt in een 3-ploegendienst (05:30–14:00, 14:00–22:30, 22:30–05:30) met gemiddeld 38 uur per week en kans op een vast contract.

Je voert glasbewerkingen uit, controleert kwaliteit en leert verspreid over meerdere werkstations te werken. Spreek je Duits, Engels of Nederlands en ben gemotiveerd om jezelf te ontwikkelen; ervaring in de glasindustrie is

• Vereiste talige vaardigheden: Engels (goede mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatieskills).
• Technische mindset en leerbereidheid.
• Fulltime beschikbaarheid.

Responsibilities

• Bedienen en inrichten van productieapparatuur.
• Glas snijden en verwerken; aluminium profielen buigen en verwerken.
• Glasproducten assembleren en testen op kwaliteit.
• Machines bedienen en meldingen van kleine storingen doorgeven.
• Veilig werken en werkplek schoon houden.
• Leren werken op meerdere werkstations.

Wat je gaat doen

As a Production Worker, you will help process and work with glass. You will start at one workstation and gradually learn more tasks and machines.

• Operating and setting up production machines;
• Cutting and processing glass;
• Bending and processing aluminium profiles;
• Assembling glass products;
• Operating machines, such as a sealing machine;
• Carrying out quality checks;
• Reporting small machine problems;
• Working safely and keeping your workplace clean;
• Learning to work at multiple workstations.

You will work an average of 38 hours per week in a 3-shift schedule. The shifts rotate between early, late and night shifts: 05:30–14:00, 14:00–22:30 and 22:30–05:30. On Fridays, the late shift ends at 23:00. The night shift starts earlier on Sunday evening because the machines need to be started.

Wat we je bieden

At Scheuten, you can expect:

• €15.92 gross per hour plus a 23% shift allowance, giving you €19.58 gross per hour;
• €0.25 travel allowance per kilometre, from the first kilometre up to a maximum of 50 kilometres one way;
• 8% holiday allowance;

You:

• Are available full-time;
• Are willing to work in 3 shifts;
• Have experience in a production environment;
• Have technical understanding or an interest in working with machines;
• Work accurately and care about quality;
• Do not mind physical work;
• Work well with others;
• Are motivated to develop yourself further;
• Speak German, English or Dutch.

Experience in the glass industry is not required. More important is that you are motivated, like to learn new things and want to become part of the team for the long term.
