Job summary

GEODIS INTERSERVICES is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on logistics systems and equipment in the Netherlands. The role requires an MBO+ level in electro/mechanical fields, a service-minded attitude, and 3+ years of hands-on experience.

Working hours are full-time with 100% time allocation, and the position is based in Flevoland, Netherlands. Safety standards and GEODIS policies must be followed, with opportunities to improve equipment

Qualifications

• MBO+ education toward electro/mechanical field.
• Serviceminded and reliable.
• 3+ years experience in a practical work environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance on logistics systems & equipment.
• Report and upscale maintenance issues to the maintenance supervisor.
• Ensure the smooth running of the logistics platform's equipment and facilities.
• Carry out internal maintenance checks.
• Perform repairs on handling & storage equipment.
• Follow safety standards and GEODIS policies.
• Plan interventions considering operating constraints.
• Analyze and diagnose equipment problems.
• Recommend actions to resolve performance issues.
• Make appropriate repairs or modifications as dictated by analysis.
• Follow scheduled maintenance procedures.
• Suggest improvements to performance.
