Job summary

Picnic in Utrecht is seeking an experienced Service & Maintenance Engineer to maintain and optimize its highly automated logistics operation. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and software faults, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and collaborate with operators, engineers and maintenance colleagues to maximise system availability.

The role requires an MBO 3/4 in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering, Siemens S7 / TIA Portal knowledge, and willingness to work

Qualifications

• MBO Level 3/4 in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical engineering.
• Experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and control systems.
• Siemens S7 / TIA Portal experience preferred.
• Familiar with Profinet and CAN-bus.
• English language proficiency.
• Willingness to work in a 5-shift rotation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical and software-related faults.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Analyze recurring failures and identify root causes.
• Maintain conveyors, shuttles, sensors, scanners and control systems.

For the state-of-the-art Picnic distribution center in Utrecht, we are looking for an experienced Service & Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the complete automated logistics operation.

From Picnic's newest distribution center, groceries are processed and delivered weekly to more than 150,000 families.

This highly automated facility features:

• More than 200,000 storage locations
• Advanced shuttle systems
• Automated conveyor and transport systems
• Siemens controls and industrial networks

A challenging technical environment where no two days are the same.

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical and software-related faults
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Analyze recurring failures and identify root causes
• Maintain conveyors, shuttles, sensors, scanners and control systems
• Work closely with operators, engineers and maintenance colleagues
• Ensure maximum availability and performance of the logistics system

• MBO Level 3 or 4 diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and control systems
• Experience with Siemens S7 / TIA Portal is highly preferred
• Familiarity with industrial communication systems such as Profinet and CAN-bus
• Good command of the English language
• Willingness to work in a 5-shift rotation

• 2 Afternoon Shifts | 14:00 - 22:30
• Followed by 4 days off

What We Offer

• Annual salary between €58,000 and €71,000 ( 8% holiday+30% shift allowance included)

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer
