Job summary

Eastmen Human Resources B.V. seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair loading and unloading systems at customer sites, diagnosing issues and interpreting drawings.

You will perform mechanical tasks, ensure safety, and keep precise service records, with on-call duties and readiness to travel long distances for parts. This role includes Dutch contract terms, accommodation, insurance, and certification support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings; basic electrical knowledge (24-230-400V).
• Valid Category B driver’s license (mandatory).
• English level at B2 (upper-intermediate).
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call duties.
• Willingness to drive long distances for parts if required.
• Nice to have welding, international service experience, or background in forklifts/car/agricultural mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair loading and unloading systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve technical malfunctions efficiently.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical schematics.
• Perform mechanical tasks including measuring, cutting, drilling, fastening, and assembly.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and service documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Handle logistics tasks when needed (e.g., driving to pick up parts or engines).
