Job summary

DHL Freight in Houten zoekt een logistiek medewerker die zorgt voor het laden en lossen van vrachtwagens en het zorgvuldig verwerken van zendingen. Je werkt met een Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) en draagt bij aan een veilige, efficiënte werkomgeving.

Het betreft een deeltijdfunctie 8–24 uur per week met flexibele diensten in de avonden en nachten. Een tijdelijk contract met uitzicht op vast werk, en parkeergelegenheid op terrein.

Qualifications

• Engels spreken is vereist.
• Fysiek in staat tot tillen tot 20 kg.
• Ervaring met EPT is prettig.
• Woonachtig in of nabij Houten, eigen vervoer.

Responsibilities

• Laden en lossen van vrachtwagens op de terminal.
• Beheren van inspectie, scanning en verwerking van zendingen.
• Bedienen van een elektrisch pallettruck (EPT) in het magazijn.
• Overleggen met collega's om zendingen efficiënt af te handelen.

As a logistics employee at DHL Freight in Houten, you'll be an essential part of the team ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and reach their destinations on time. This role offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same, combining physical tasks with the use of equipment like an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT). Your responsibilities as Logistics Employee include:

• Loading and unloading trucks at the terminal to keep operations running smoothly.
• Inspecting, scanning, and processing shipments with precision and care.
• Operating an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) to move goods safely within the warehouse.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure shipments are handled efficiently and accurately.
• Following all safety and quality procedures to maintain a secure work environment.

Available shifts:

• Wednesday: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM and/or 12:30 AM - 6:00 AM
• Thursday: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM and/or 12:30 AM - 6:00 AM
• Friday: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM and/or 12:30 AM - 6:00 AM
