ROA | Real Oat Arts is hiring for an entry-level Operations role in Amsterdam. You will coordinate the customer journey from inquiry to invoice, work with warehouses, carriers, and our ERP system, and contribute to improving logistics processes across Europe.
You’ll join a fast-growing oat milk brand with a strong culture and hybrid working arrangements. 32–40 hours weekly, with 1 home day and occasional flexibility.
We're looking for a hungry generalist to join our Operations team: someone who thrives on variety, hands-on problem-solving, and the challenge of keeping a fast-growing oat milk brand running smoothly, from warehouse to doorstep. You'll work closely with customers, warehouses, and transporters across Europe, and no two days will look the same.
Research shows that female candidates only apply if they meet 100% of the requirements, while male candidates already apply when they meet 60%. Not sure if you meet all the requirements? Apply anyway, we'd love to hear from you!
ROA started in 2021 in Amsterdam, with three friends who were fed up with an oat m*lk shelf full of big brands that didn't deliver on what the packaging promised. Their m*lks separated, didn't foam, and every carton tasted different. And worse: you couldn't taste your coffee anymore. So we got to work ourselves in search of our perfect recipe. We started small, delivering by cargo bike along the Amsterdam canals, and turned every carton into a canvas & platform for emerging artists. Art and culture are of great importance to us!
Today, ROA is a proud independent brand trusted by more than 2,000 cafés, bakeries, and cultural spaces in more than 25 countries across Europe and the UK. As we scale our footprint and expand our product range with new formats and plant-based barista products, we remain committed to sustainability, independent businesses, and exceptional quality. We are also working towards B Corp certification, because we only want to grow in a way that is fair and sustainable for people and the planet.
You coordinate our customers' entire customer journey, from the first inquiry to the invoice. Throughout the day, you switch between customers, warehouses, carriers, and our systems, and you make sure it all adds up. Your responsibilities:
Do you get energy from a day that never goes exactly as planned? Are you a generalist who switches gears quickly, takes ownership, and gets things done? Then we're looking for you. This is an entry-level role: you don't need to already know everything, just be willing to learn everything. This will help your application:
We select based on what you can do and who you are, not based on background, gender, age, disability, or any other characteristic. Everyone who sees themselves in this role is warmly invited to apply.
