Job summary

Association De Sering is seeking a Location Management Intern to join our Amsterdam operations at Sering Centraal/TestTafel. You will work alongside the location manager at one of our two sites, helping with marketing, events, guest inquiries, admin tasks, and coordinating projects with staff and volunteers.

This broad internship offers real responsibility and impact, with meetings and discussions shaping the organisation.

Qualifications

Hospitality experience or enthusiasm is preferred.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with kitchen, service teams, volunteers, and guests.
Basic people-management support abilities.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities in fast-paced settings.
Interest in activism, community building, and sustainable food systems.
Willingness to work on-site in Amsterdam at either location.

Responsibilities

Marketing, promotion and outreach for the location.
Organise and facilitate events.
Answer questions from guests, handle enquiries about events and large groups, and field offers from suppliers (admin).
Run and coordinate projects with the location's and central office staff and our volunteer community.
Participate in meetings and discussions that shape and steer the organisation (Association De Sering & TestTafel Foundation).
