Job summary

Agilent Technologies Netherlands BV in Middelburg is offering a Life Science Business Development Intern position for a 9-month placement. This hybrid role blends office work with remote activities and potential wet-lab involvement as part of the hybrid setup.

You will support field sales and marketing, gain hands-on experience in business development, market analysis, and customer communications while building a network across internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing at least a second-year Life Science degree.
• Suitable fields include Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical sciences.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and ability to interact with internal/external partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop business with new and existing clients (no cold calling).
• Analyze market data to support business generation.
• Respond to inbound customer inquiries via email and webchat.
• Support Netherlands sales managers with forecasting, tracking and reporting.
• Prepare customer proposals, tender responses and quotations.
• Assist with organization of local/international events and marketing campaigns.
• Create marketing material and newsletters; build internal/external networks.
