Job summary

Agilent Technologies Inc. in the Netherlands is offering a 9-month Life Science Business Development Internship based in Middelburg with hybrid work options.

You will support the field sales and marketing teams, develop commercial experience in a market-leading company and gain exposure to Cell Analysis and Molecular Biology products. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to learn quickly, while contributing to day-to-day operations and strategic projects within the Netherlands

Qualifications

• Pursuing Life Science degree, at least in second year.
• Motivated with a strong desire to develop commercial knowledge.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop business with new and existing clients.
• Analyze market data to support business generation.
• Respond to inbound customer inquiries via email and webchat.
• Support Netherlands sales managers with order forecasting and reporting.
• Generate customer proposals, tender responses and quotations.
• Assist with organizing local and international events and campaigns.
• Create marketing materials and newsletters.
• Build your personal network with internal and external stakeholders.
