Job summary

Hazera seeks a Legal Counsel to act as the primary legal sparring partner for multiple business stakeholders within the Hazera global organization. You will join the Legal Team and collaborate with colleagues across the Limagrain Group to translate legal risk into practical business solutions.

The role covers drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on commercial and corporate matters, and supporting IP and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Dutch law.
• At least 4 years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience as an attorney-at-law (beroepsopleidingadvocatuur) preferred.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contract law and corporate law.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Independent, pragmatic and solution-oriented with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements (distribution, licensing, collaboration, procurement and sales).
• Advise business teams on commercial, corporate and operational legal issues.
• Provide guidance on IP, regulatory and compliance matters.

Responsibilities

As Legal Counsel, you will be the primary legal sparring partner for various business stakeholders within Hazera. You will be part of the Legal Team, working closely with colleagues throughout the globalorganizationand the widerLimagrainGroup.

• Drafting,reviewingand negotiating commercial agreements, including distribution, licensing, collaboration, procurementand sales agreements.
• Advising business teams on commercial, corporateand operational legal issues.
• Advising onintellectual property, regulatory and compliance matters.
• Managing disputes and coordinating external legal counsel where necessary.
• Participating in cross-functional project teams and steering committees.
• Helping the business translate legal risks into practical and workable solutions.
• Working closely with your colleagues at the Legal Department.

*This position requires business travels (about 3 trips abroad/year)

Candidate profile

• AMaster's degree in Dutch law.
• At least 4 years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience as an attorney-at-law is strongly preferred (completion of the Dutch professional legal trainingprogram(beroepsopleidingadvocatuur)).
• Excellent command of Dutch and English.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contract law and corporate law.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
