Job summary

Formelio, a Dutch scale-up, is seeking a Product Owner to lead a 4-6 person engineering squad working on DVA and IOP data exchange across major medical source systems in the Netherlands. The role suits someone with a technical background who can bridge product, architecture and delivery.

You will run daily stand-ups, biweekly sprints, roadmaps, coordinate with management and stakeholders, understand data models, and use tools like JSON, Kibana, Postman; English fluency required; Dutch not

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
• Experience with managing senior back-end engineers.
• Clear communication and planning skills to make reliable and thorough agreements with external stakeholders and internal team members.
• Strong organizational skills and affinity with setting up and managing standard operating procedures. We use Notion for our documentation and task management.
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4-6 engineers on the DVA and IOP products enabling data exchange between major medical source systems in the Netherlands.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups and biweekly sprint planning to keep the team on track with development.
• Work with management to prepare roadmaps, define done criteria, align with technical stakeholders, and plan realistic timelines.
• Understand function of components and data models at solution-architecture level (not full technical architecture).
• Analyze data in JSON files, read logs in Kibana, and use API tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
