Job summary

Vondel Venture Development in Amsterdam is seeking experienced product engineers to join our fast-growing digital health team. You’ll own end-to-end features across frontend, backend, and data, working directly with the founders and a growing medical team.

You’ll build a modern, zero-legacy stack (Next.js, Turborepo, Bun, TypeScript) powering patient onboarding, telemedicine, and pharmacy operations across multiple countries. Hybrid work and strong ownership are core.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack experience, ideally in TypeScript.
• Fluent in English (Dutch a plus).
• Based in the Netherlands, willing to work in Amsterdam.
• Experience in startups or scaleups is a big plus; proactive builders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ship end-to-end features across frontend, backend, and data.
• Own features from product conversation through deploy; minimal approvals.
• Collaborate with founders, Tech Lead, operations, and medical team.
• Improve performance, reliability, and developer experience as we scale.
• Help shape engineering practices in a small, high-autonomy team.
