Job summary

Doghouse Recruitment is assisting a growing SaaS company in Utrecht to hire an experienced Lead Software Engineer. You will guide a cross-functional team of 4–6 engineers, boost delivery and help shape the future engineering organization with greater ownership and autonomy.

Requirements: 8+ years in software engineering, 3+ years leading engineering teams, hands-on 50/50 management/tech, strong English, and a background in C#/.NET with Azure; Docker and Kubernetes are a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 3+ years managing engineering teams.
• Experience scaling, restructuring or splitting engineering teams.
• Hands-on mindset (50% management / 50% technical).
• Strong English communication connecting technology, product and business.
• Background in C#/NET and Azure preferred; Docker/Kubernetes a plus.
