Job summary

Vanderlande in the Netherlands seeks a hands-on Service Technician to support DHL Zaltbommel in a 5-shift, highly automated environment. You will perform electrical, instrument, mechanical, and control system maintenance, lead a shift team, and coordinate activities to keep operations running smoothly.

You will troubleshoot malfunctions, implement improvements, and act as the point of contact for the customer and Global Service Desk during escalations.

Qualifications

• Minimum technical MBO 4 completed or comparable work experience in the technical sector.
• At least 3 years of experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance in the field.
• Experience in finding and solving system errors and affinity with controls.
• Good command of English and/or Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operations and compliance with HSE standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electromechanical and control systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive improvements to systems and service performance.
• Act as first point of contact for the customer, Global Service Desk and escalations during shift.
• Provide leadership, coaching and technical guidance to shift team members.
• Coordinate shift activities and handovers to ensure continuity.
• Maintain maintenance records in CMMS (Maximo).
• Support escalation procedures and proactively identify risks.
