Vanderlande invites applications for the Service Technician II role based in Ridderkerk, Netherlands. You will help keep the automated warehouse systems running and ensure timely deliveries for Van Gelder, focusing on preventive maintenance and rapid fault resolution.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance, a proactive approach, and flexibility to cover a 5-shift schedule across days and nights. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• MBO4 level in a technical discipline related to Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Willingness to obtain NEN3140 certification if not already held.
• Good command of English or Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure top condition of automated systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control-system faults.
• Decide when high-priority tickets require second-line engineer support.
• Document fault reports and actions taken.
