Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Service Technician at DHL Zaltbommel to manage a 5-shift schedule in a highly automated environment. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, electromechanical and control systems, and lead a shift team while coordinating with the Global Service Desk during escalations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive improvements, and maintain accurate CMMS records.

Qualifications

• Minimum technical MBO 4 completed or comparable.
• At least 3 years of experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Experience in finding and solving system errors with controls.
• Good command of English and/or Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operations and compliance with HSE standards.
• Perform and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electromechanical and control systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvements to systems and service performance.
• Act as the first point of contact for the customer and escalations during the shift.
• Provide leadership, coaching and technical guidance to shift team members.
• Coordinate shift activities, handovers and maintenance execution for continuity.
• Maintain maintenance admin and reporting in CMMS (Maximo).
• Support escalation procedures and identify potential risks.
