Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Leiden hosts a Scientific Manager Cell and Gene Therapy Analytics role focusing on leading biophysical and separation-based method development for viral vectors and LNP products. You will mentor a 22-person CGTA team and collaborate with process development, quality and regulatory units to advance analytical strategies.

The role emphasizes ownership of method development, data integrity, and communication in English.

Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of biophysical and separation-based technologies (LC, light scattering, CE).
Deep scientific insights into (viral) vectors and LNP-based product development.
Proven people leader experience.
Direct experience with clinical cell and gene therapy product development and GMP quality systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Leads a complementary team developing biophysical and separation technology-based methods.
Acts as a technical analytical lead to strengthen product development strategy, especially LNP-based products.
Shares expertise in LC, light scattering and CE and drives method selection and implementation.
Builds lifecycle management from development to validation for release and characterization.
Collaborates across multidisciplinary teams and prepares documents for regulatory filing.
