Job summary

Eurus Energy Europe B.V. (EEE) is hiring a Project Engineer to lead the construction of wind, solar, and battery storage projects in Europe.

You will report to the Head of Asset Management in Amsterdam and act as the Owner's technical representative on Projects, overseeing EPC contractors and technical advisors. The role requires at least 6 years in project delivery, strong contract and risk management skills, travel across Europe, fluency in English (Dutch advantageous), and a relevant

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in construction and delivery of utility-scale onshore wind, solar PV and/or BESS projects
• Project management and project risk mitigation
• Proactive, team player with strong communication under contractual pressure
• Bachelor’s degree in renewable energy, electrical or mechanical engineering or related field
• Analytical skills and advanced MS Office usage
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Europe
• Fluency in English and driving licence
• Master’s degree in renewable energy or related field (advantage)
• Affinity with international environments and renewables
• Experience with due diligence or lenders’ technical advisor on project-financed assets
• Experience negotiating turbine or BESS/PV supply agreements and long-term service agreements
• Knowledge of grid connection processes and DSO/TSO interfaces in Europe
• Fluency in Dutch

Responsibilities

• Lead the design review, EPC contract scope, and Owner's Engineer coordination for Projects in Europe
• Oversee construction progress, budgets, and milestone achievement
• Ensure contracts and work meet project specifications and coordinate with partners/consultants
• Review invoices and manage cost-to-complete forecasts
• Provide monthly progress and expenditure updates to stakeholders
• Coordinate with development and engineering teams for technical support
• Collaborate with legal to execute EPC and balance-of-plant contracts and supplier agreements
• Liaise with lenders’ technical advisors and facility agents as needed
