Job summary

QuantWare BV in the Netherlands seeks a Senior Systems Architect to lead system-level design for QPU deployment across global HPC and quantum infrastructures. You will own MBSE tooling, parameterized model-based blueprints, and standardized component libraries, collaborating with system integrators and supply chain partners.

You will drive architecture decisions, interface definitions between hardware and software, and align ecosystems with third-party components to ensure deployment-ready

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a relevant engineering field (Systems, Electrical, Physics, or Mechanical).
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in complex systems engineering or related fields.
• Experience with MBSE methodologies (SysML, Python-based twins, or custom tools).
• Experience with chip-based architectures, RF signal chains, and thermal management.

Responsibilities

• Architect parameterized full-stack qpu blueprints including thermal budgets and RF paths.
• Develop and own MBSE tooling and system modeling framework.
• Build and maintain standardized component libraries and assess supply chain needs.
• Define hardware-software interfaces linking HPC schedulers with QPU control.
• Identify integration gaps with third-party components and drive resolution.
