Job summary

Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead the Food & Drink teams across Peacock Alley and Goldfinch Brasserie. You’ll inspire the team, uphold luxury standards and ensure smooth daily operations with a hands‑on approach.

You will supervise service across venues, coach staff, manage schedules and contribute to guest satisfaction and revenue growth in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Hospitality leadership experience in Food & Drink, preferably luxury.
• Hands-on leadership on the floor with strong presence.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication.
• Ability to coach and develop a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Food & Drink team across Peacock Alley and Goldfinch Brasserie.
• Oversee daily operations and ensure Waldorf Astoria service standards.
• Deliver memorable guest experiences and resolve issues with care.
• Conduct daily briefings and maintain clear inter‑department communication.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing team development.
• Prepare schedules based on business needs and forecasts.
• Drive revenue through product knowledge and upselling while protecting guest experience.
• Assist cost control, inventory management and overall profitability.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and identify areas for service improvement.
