Job summary

We ARE Renewables seeks a Lead Engineer for offshore wind installations to join our client on a permanent staff basis, based in the Netherlands or Belgium, with international project assignments.

You will drive engineering, preparation and execution of offshore projects, develop detailed method statements, review Orcaflex analyses, translate theory into practical site actions, and lead operations from sea or onshore, with safety and efficiency in focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with offshore/marine focus.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with safety mindset.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Drive engineering, preparation and execution of offshore wind installation projects.
• Develop detailed method statements to ensure safe, efficient operations offshore.
• Review Orcaflex analyses and engineering reports for quality and safety.
• Prepare work packs and translate theory into practical site actions.
• Lead operations at sea or onshore, focusing on safety and results.
• Support project management with planning, reporting and cost follow-up.
