Job summary

W-Industries is seeking a Senior Lead Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership across capital, maintenance, and turnaround projects for petrochemical, refining, and oil & gas sectors. The role oversees electrical design, ensures quality and compliance, mentors junior staff, and serves as the primary client contact from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of electrical engineering experience in petrochemical, refining, LNG or oil & gas, including leadership responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• PE license preferred.
• Experience with brownfield and greenfield facilities.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of current codes and standards (NEC, IEEE).

The Senior Lead Electrical Engineer provides technical leadership for the electrical engineering discipline on capital, maintenance, and turnaround projects within the petrochemical, refining, and oil & gas industries. This role is responsible for overseeing electrical engineering design, ensuring quality and compliance, coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, mentoring junior engineers, and serving as the primary electrical engineering contact for clients. The Senior Lead Electrical Engineer supports projects from concept through construction while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance.
