The Senior Engineer is responsible for designing and developing solutions that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and sustainability, thereby supporting project objectives and contributing to the long-term success of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Select appropriate methods and procedures, perform engineering work, and optimize designs in line with specifications, international codes, industry standards, and regulations;
- Proactively plan, manage, and deliver activities and outputs within agreed schedules and budgets, while ensuring system interfaces are properly addressed;
- Deliver work in compliance with both contractual obligations and internal requirements;
- Apply relevant lessons learned and assess the impact of changes within and across project boundaries;
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties in accordance with contractual and internal requirements;
- Take on responsibility as a Package Engineer, covering the design, procurement, and manufacturing aspects of assigned packages;
- Lead engineers within the assigned scope of work and provide technical guidance;
- Act as a Discipline Lead for a defined scope of work when required.
Education
Bachelor of Science / Master of Science (BSc/MSc), Electrical Engineering
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry;
- Proficiency in engineering design and calculation tools;
- Concept development and detailed design expertise;
- Package engineering and manufacturing experience;
- Focus on reliability, operability, and safety;
- Strong background in electrical engineering and analysis;
- Effective planning and organisational skills.
