FairPlay Engineering BV seeks a Lead Engineer Electrical to guide a multi-disciplinary team in designing and delivering complex electrical systems from 24V up to 380kV. You will own HV/LV projects, perform calculations, and prepare documentation to meet client requirements and quality standards.
You will lead approx. 30 professionals and collaborate with instrumentation and other disciplines to drive energy transition initiatives and safety improvements.
Ready to lead diverse and complex electrical engineering projects across the full voltage spectrum? Step into a dynamic Lead Engineer Electrical role where your technical leadership and multidisciplinary experience make a real impact.
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Lead Engineer Electrical who is ready for the next step—or already operating at that level. In this role, you won’t be limited to narrow scopes like cable ducts or terminal boxes; instead, you’ll work across the entire spectrum of electrical engineering. From grounding, lightning protection, and power distribution to all voltage levels ranging from 24V up to 380kV, you’ll be deeply involved in the engineering and design of comprehensive electrical systems.
You’ll take ownership of multiple low, medium, and high-voltage projects, either simultaneously or in sequence, ensuring both variety and challenge in your daily work. The position offers a broad scope of responsibilities, including performing calculations, designing layouts and diagrams, and preparing technical documentation that aligns with client requirements and quality standards.
Collaboration is key in this multidisciplinary 3D working environment. You’ll work alongside instrumentation specialists and other technical disciplines to deliver innovative solutions. There is also an opportunity to expand your expertise into instrumentation and control systems.
As a Lead Engineer, you will guide and inspire a growing team of approximately 30 professionals, many of whom are directly supporting clients in the energy transition through emission reduction, energy efficiency, and safety enhancements. A portion of the team also works from a modern, well-equipped office that includes excellent lunch and fitness facilities.
