Job summary

Itproposal is seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Architect to define GCP standards, shape the future of GCP services, and lead secure, scalable cloud solutions at enterprise scale.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, FinOps, and engineering teams to implement IAM across GCP, drive Terraform IaC, and mentor engineers while maintaining architectural artifacts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture roles.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Extensive experience with Terraform, IaC pipelines, and automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of cloud billing models, cost allocation, and optimization strategies.
• Strong scripting and troubleshooting skills using Python and Bash.
• Experience designing enterprise-level account structures and security models in GCP.
• Hands‑on experience with PaaS offerings, containerized workloads (GKE) and serverless services (Cloud Run).
• Experience operating cloud platforms at enterprise scale with a focus on security, compliance, reliability, and performance.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-based delivery models and data integration patterns.
• Engineering and coding skills applied in agile environments.
• Knowledge of TOGAF.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and DevOps principles.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Infrastructure as Code, and enterprise cloud architecture. In this role, you will define technology standards, shape the future state of GCP services, and lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient cloud solutions.
